Transgender Ethics
Transgender Ethics
Once again, you are creating an evidence-based oral argument (supported with a clearly illustrated example). This can be a video or a voiceover presentation, student’s choice! The goal is for you to apply knowledge about biopsychology to identify ethical problems and propose a reasonable solution, and being capable of communicating your ideas orally using professional presentation skills is critical for job and career success.
Creating these products will help you improve your technical and communication skills, which will be used in any career you pursue.
Successful completion of this activity meets Module Outcome 5.

Create an oral argument, complete with properly cited and reference scholarly sources as necessary, to support your writing. The oral argument must be presented in either a video (remember, professional presence!) or a voiceover in a multimedia presentation.
Sexual attraction, gender identity, and body type are independent of each other. Knowing this, imagine someone telling you that all male-to-female transsexual persons prefer males as their sexual partners. What would your response be? Support your response with an example. Be sure to identify and address at least one ethical problem faced by individuals within transgender communities and propose a reasonable solution.
Remember you must present some scholarly evidence and an example to support your argument.
Remember to write out a script for yourself before you create the video or voiceover. Scripts help you sound more focused and polished while keeping the information clear and concise. Follow the tips located here to maximize the impact of your script and video/voiceover.
Canvas allows you to create video right within our LMS. Follow the directions giving in the “Technical Guidance” document, found at the beginning of our course.
Your presentation should be a maximum of 2 minutes long.
