For your second deliverable, please analyze the two outpatient-focused and one physician services focused scenarios. You will put your codes and rationale on a Word document for submission to be graded.  For each scenario include:

Identify the correct corresponding code(s).

Summarize the rationale behind your decision. 

Finally, explain how your code(s) follows ICD-10-CM coding guidelines. Don’t forget to explain your reasoning regarding format, symbols, and instructional notation.

The minimum word count for each scenario should be at least 75 words.

Physician Scenario #1: What is the correct way to code a patient having bradycardia due to Demerol that was correctly prescribed and properly administered? Provide the appropriate rationale.

Outpatient Scenario #1: A patient that has cirrhosis of the liver just had an endoscopy performed showing hemorrhagic esophageal varices. What ICD-10-CM codes are reported? Provide appropriate rationale. 

Outpatient scenarios #2: A 55-year-old patient had a fracture of his left knee cap six months ago. The fracture has healed but he still has staggering gait in which he will be going to physical therapy. What ICD-10-CM codes are reported? Provide appropriate rationale.
