You will read Chapter 9 and you will choose one of the questions listed below. No more than two persons should choose the same question. So if two people have already chosen a specific question, you should choose another one to respond to.

What would be an appropriate response to a student who kicks a teacher? Read the section Protection Against Assault. When are suspensions and expulsions allowed? (p. 281).

In this assignment, you have the opportunity to share your ideas about historical influences on education. Chapter 3 provides a global historical perspective on the purposes, methods, and content of education in several cultures.
This assignment gives everyone the opportunity to reflect on what you read in Chapter 3 about education in the various cultures and compare them with what education is like in your territory.
To do so collaboratively, you will choose one of the cultures below. No more than one person can select the same culture. If one person in the class has already chosen a given culture, you should choose another one.
