Instructions: Compare the two health economics teachers listed below. Students have asked both of them to teach them about the law of supply and demand.

A. Teacher 1 plans to explain the law of supply and demand by first telling the difference between demand and supply. To execute this, she will use students applying to schools with Medtech programs to show the demand curve and the schools to show the supply curve. Teacher 1 wants to show that the demand and supply curves meet at the market price, which is the tuition fee charged by a school that offers a Medtech program.

B. Teacher 2 plans to talk about the same law of supply and demand, but she will do so by asking the students to define demand, supply, market price, and the law of supply and demand. During the discussion, both the teachers and the students will get most of their information from books written by both local and foreign authors.
