Take Note: Even though you are constructing and Annotated Bibliography for this assignment y ou MUST include four of the five sources you use here and cite them on the last page of your Finished Essay as End Notes (Bibliography).
Assignment Requirements:
The requirements for this assignment are the same as they were for the Annotated Bibliography you created in Unit One…so this should look familiar. The Unit One Assignment was specifically designed to prepare you to create an Annotated Bibliography for your Expository Essay.
Include at least Five Citations in your bibliography. Including at least one book, one periodical article and one website would be a beneficial learning experience but it is NOT REQUIRED . You are required to annotate all FIVE of the citations you use.
Cite the source in proper MLA format. The citations should be organized in alphabetical order by author.
Follow each citation with a brief annotation, approximately 3-5 sentences is good.
Your Annotation “could” include a brief summary of the source, an explanation of why the source is important to your research and a statement that relates to the credibility of the author. Remember the key is to make annotations that help “you”.
You may write in a casual style in the summary BUT be cognizant of good grammar.
Open the word processing program on your computer and create your Annotated Bibliography.
Once completed ATTACH the word document with your Annotated Bibliography into the assignment area.
Remember, if you are not using Microsoft Word, convert your document to a PDF following the instructions in the Welcome Unit.
