Hi I need help on this discussion forum 

There are often deep differences in values among people about whether government should use its authority to intervene on a particular health issue, such as obesity, and about what, if any, intervention is appropriate. Some believe government should intervene to help communities address obesity, but believe only education is appropriate, while taxation or regulation is not. Others see a benefit in utilizing law as a mechanism to regulate behavior and shift social norms in a desired direction. Public health professionals often look to both law and ethics for guidance in addressing different aspects of these questions.
