What are your impressions of the HR Simulation? What was it like to complete the practice rounds? How do you think a simulation like this can help you learn more about HR analytics? Specifically, please outline at least 2 personal goals you have with the simulation. What do you want to get out of this? For example, will you try to maximize profit for your company or will you experiment more with different approaches? Think about your past experience and your areas of growth and develop these 2 personal goals for this simulation. These goals should be related to your learning about HR analytics, not simply technical learning about navigating the simulation.

Click here for more information about SMART Goals: https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/smart-goals  Even though you’ve only done 2 practice rounds at this point, I want you to think about goals for your learning that go beyond “to learn more” or “to be successful.” For example, you could set personal goals like, “I want to experiment with the tension between wellness programs and benefits” or “My learning goal is to understand how investment in diversity influences job satisfaction.” Or, if you want to get more technical now that you have some experience in the simulation going through 2 practice rounds, you could make goals like Amy McQueen: “1) Increase employee morale from 50 to 90 by the end of the simulation, & 2) Decrease turnover by 50% by the end of the simulation.”
