After you have read the documents and essays in chapter 7:

Discuss whether the 1920s were a decade of unleashed social freedom or one of new restrictiveness. Imagine yourself to be first a modernist and then a fundamentalist.

Using the documents, create two posts:

One that addresses the cultural changes of the 1920s from the perspective of a modernist celebrating the age of jazz

Another that looks at the decade from the perspective of a fundamentalist calling for prohibition and a curbing of such things as women’s sexual freedoms.
