Subjects in both conditions time themselves drawing through the maze, found in your lab manual, as fast as possible without touching the lines. Record the time on the chart below. Subjects in Condition 1: For the next five minutes mentally rehearse drawing the maze, without activating hand or arm muscles! Leave arms sitting on table or in lap. Use a stopwatch (phone or online) to time each mental rehearsal repetition performed. Subjects in Condition 2: For the next five minutes actually draw the maze every 30 seconds. Use a stopwatch (phone or online) to time each repetition performed. After the subject has completed their assigned practice condition (actual practice or mental rehearsal) retest one final time and record the result. Once the subject has completed their condition, calculate the percent improvement for your condition. Post your individual data for the class to use. (((When writing up the procedure, you must report what was actually done and what actually happened and omit any extra information such as helpful hints included in the instructions.
