Working at height is easy to falls from ladders and through fragile surfaces, If there were no precautions in place, a place could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury.(for example a fall through a fragile roof)
To ensure the safe working at height, before beginning work on-site, all personnel must have a current green card. Each worker should additionally receive site-specific induction training to identify any high-risk locations and deliver emergency management instructions.

Before work begins on any high-risk construction project, a safe work method statement (SWMS) must be written. The SWMS should define the scope of the job, any possible safety hazards, and how risks will be avoided and managed. Construction work cannot begin unless SWMS criteria are reached, according to the legislation.

It is recommended practice in the construction business to give one first aid officer for every 25 workers. First aid supplies and equipment must be kept in an immediately accessible location on the premises.
