In my other class, someone mentioned Aptitude – can anyone be a competent social worker because they have been trained to do so?
Do you think the difference is in the details – someone is more qualified because of licensure but not necessarily more competent? Another student asked about the role of continuing education – does this help people become more competent? Or, are we discussing things that makes someone more qualified BUT no necessarily more competent?
