The authorities and coroner of San Bernardino were dispatched to midway Road in Lucerne Valley, where a home owner came across skeletal remains. They have no idea how they got their or if the bones were human. After the forensics pathologist did some routine testing, it was discovered that they were in fact human remains. The body had no skin tissue and was pure bones but very well intact. After further testing and dental examinations it was determined that the remains belonged to 29-year-old Chris Flores of San Bernardino County.  There was nothing left of him but bones and a bit of skin but what looked charred as if he has been through an oven of some sort. His bones looked caramelized as if someone or thing had tried to burn him. The remains were found on October 2nd 2022, outside a home, but it is not believed that was where he died. The coroner has now ruled this as a homicide as foul play has been determined.
