There are several new employees on your team at work. To create consistency with messaging, you will create an infographic to pass out to your employees informing them about how to write business messages. For this assignment:
Discuss the importance of clarity and conciseness when writing business messages.
Explain the different ways that messages can be sent other than email.
Detail why understanding how to write business messages is needed in the workplace.
Provide a short example of a business message that may be commonly used. This example should be different from the example used in this week’s discussion prompt.
Make sure the main points of your infographic are clear and supported. Transitions are clear and logical, the organization is well planned, and the language used is appropriate.
Be creative with your inforgraphic. This is not a paper or essay. Feel free to include images, graphs, charts, or any other design element you choose. You can use software of your choice to create the infographic. For example, you can complete the infographic as a PDF, a Word document, a brochure, or any other visual that works for the content of this assignment. A few examples of free software that can help you out are Adobe Spark, Canva, Flipbuilder, and Lucidpress. You do not have to use any of these sites, rather they are meant to provide you with options for creating your infographic.
It is recommended that you save your infographic as a PDF for submission. Be sure to include a reference list in current APA Style of all the sources used.
