You wrote an awesome post about societal attitudes on vaccinations during a pandemic.  You took the position that vaccination should be mandatory and you cited scientific literature to back up your position.  A classmate was all too eager to respond to your post and wrote the following:

“Only a scientist could be so insensitive to the cultural ramifications that mandatory vaccinations ignore.  I can’t believe that someone living in the 21st century could be so obtuse.  The vaccines are under emergency authorization use, and the clinical trials were homogenous in terms of racial diversity.  Before you go sounding off the mandatory horn, I suggest you look into the facts.”
