She bought the most up-to-date version of the A.P.A style handbook thinking that she will use this to be sure she is using the correct format to cite her sources. She uses resources from both the library and online. As she conducts her research she uses note cards and writes her sources on each note card. In her library research she uses note cards. She writes her source and page numbers on the note cards, and notes whether she is quoting or summarizing information. In her online research, she is sure not to cut and paste any of the text. Instead, she prints out the information she wants to use and highlights it. When she is ready to use the information, she will summarize the information in her own words.
