all 563 I < Back Submission Q Week 1: Milestone 1: Executive Summary Nov 1, 2022 at 9:33 PM ‘ Executive Summary In Philadelphia, Frankford High School is one of the lowest schools, and it’s ranked 507 out of 676, According to usnews, “The Reading Proficiency is 20%". Are the students are getting help with their English? What can the teachers do to better for Frankford Students with their Reading level? For this project, we are developing and helping Frankford high school students with their English by working with tutors. The goal is to help Frankford students by improving their English skills. I know sometimes the students can get frustrated with their work, and not have the support they need. The Database we are using for this project is Google forms so the students can register and make appointments for tutoring. After the student register, they must pick a date and select English for the subject. Once the student does that, they can be in contact by phone or email. The student and teacher will get confirmation for tutoring. lfa student can’t make it to tutoring, the student will contact the tutor or reschedule by using Google forms. The student can meet the tutor in person or virtually. Ifthe student can’t meet the tutor, the virtual system we are using is Zoom or Webex for the students. The purpose of this project is to prepare Frankford students for SAT’s and college because it’s very important to use these materials in the future.
