Scenario
After reviewing the new proposed vision from Healthy Dynamics that includes updated mission, focus area, and objectives, the CEO has decided to contract a project manager. The project manager understands the importance of identifying stakeholders early in the strategic planning process. The project manager will be responsible for the successful start of the planning strategy, implementation, review, control, and evaluation of the strategic plan. Other tasks include: gathering feedback from stakeholders, identifying areas of improvement, and making recommendations.
The project manager has asked you to provide a strategy map, identifying key stakeholders involved in achieving the objectives of the defined focus area. Some of the major stakeholders in the healthcare industry are physicians, employers, insurance companies, pharmaceutical firms, government agencies, and consumers (e.g., patients and employees). You will also need to make a list of relevant questions to solicit feedback from the stakeholders that will allow you to see where stakeholders stand when evaluated by the same key measures (survey questions). I have attached last week's models assignment as a reference for guidance.
Instructions
Design a Strategy Map (data table) using Microsoft Word that includes:
- Identifying the key stakeholders.
- Describe how you will ensure that the key stakeholders represent a culturally diverse mix of individuals.
- Explain how you will ensure that you use a fair, respectful, and equitable selection process for identifying stakeholders.
- What business or health industry does the stakeholder represent (e.g., wellness, pharmacy, health plans, non-profit, academia, etc.)?
- What are the stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities as it relates to the strategic plan?
- Indicate how often you will meet with the stakeholders.
- What type of power (e.g., financial, providers, users, influencers) will the stakeholder have in the success of the strategicplan?
- Include a timeline to show when you will engage each stakeholder.
Create a Stakeholder Survey that includes:
- Key questions to solicit feedback from stakeholders after your first meeting (both quantitative and qualitative) to identify potential solutions to anticipated issues that may be raised by the stakeholders?
- Questions should be aimed at how to improve the effectiveness of the stakeholder meetings and the satisfaction of the stakeholders during the planning process.
- Your assignment should include a title page, a reference page, and a minimum of three scholarly sources, two of which must be retrieved from the Rasmussen Library.

DIGITAL HEALTH
Digital health is outlined to help reduce time, increase precision and efficiency, and merge technologies in ways that are new to healthcare ( Bernstein, 2021 ). Digital health can prevent disease and lower healthcare costs while helping patients monitor and manage chronic conditions. It can also tailor medicine for individual patients. Digital health technology can assist healthcare users in being informed and empowered to participate in their health and health care ( Bernstein, 2021 ). For example, telehealth and telemedicine services can reduce physical, distance, and time barriers by enabling remote consultations. Wearable devices and online applications can assist users in monitoring their symptoms or vital signs and uploading information for their health practitioner to assess and make healthy life choices related to diet, activity, and sleep ( Bernstein, 2021).

VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to design and deliver high quality, innovative and personalized health care, to build healthier communities and improve lives for patients, consumers, and caregivers.
Digital health will be valued and adopted if accessible, supporting equitable and universal access to quality health services ( Mariano, 2020 ). It is enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of health systems in delivering quality, affordable and equitable care; and strengthening and scaling up health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, management, rehabilitation, and palliative care in a system that respects the privacy and security of patient health information ( Mariano, 2020 ).
3
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to transform lives and improve the quality of patient care through the effective and innovative use of digital health.
We live in an era where incredible advancements like digital health enable more people to make informed decisions about their everyday health. As technology rapidly advances, people are harnessing unprecedented opportunities to manage their health issues better ( Saiso et al., 2022 ). The opportunity for digital health to radically improve human health and transform patient outcomes is fascinating. We must bring technology to more patients ( Saiso et al., 2022 ). Ultimately our mission is to have no patient, no clinician, left behind in the digital transformation.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
Promote collaboration and advance the transfers and knowledge of digital health
Advance the implementation of digital health strategies
Strengthen governance for digital health at a community level
Advocate people-centered health systems that are enabled by digital health.
These four strategic objectives are intended to provide guidance and coordination on global digital health transformation and to strengthen synergies between initiatives and stakeholders to improve health outcomes and mitigate associated risks at all levels (Blumenberg et al., 2022)
5
Promote collaboration and advance the transfers and knowledge of digital health
This strategic objective aims to align stakeholders with acting upon opportunities to improve health and work towards universal health coverage while meeting challenges, identifying and communicating risks, and focusing on threats associated with the use of digital technologies to improve health and enable universal health coverage ( Mariano, 2020 ). This strategic objective encourages action on shared opportunities and challenges relevant to all stakeholders, regardless of their situation. It aims to maximize collaborations and partnerships with other agencies within the marketplace and stakeholders and to help build new ones ( Mariano, 2020 ). This strategic objective will help to ensure that the quality and outcome of the new digital health technologies are assessed to enable their timely adoption and promotion. Policies and regulations are needed to ensure the investment, sustainability, quality, security, and safety of both digital health products and cutting-edge health technologies that are not only used in health care but that may also be directly marketed to individuals ( Mariano, 2020 ).
6
Advance the implementation of digital health strategies
This strategic objective aims to stimulate, support, and strengthen its strategy on digital health in a way that best suits its vision, health situation and trends, available resources, and core values ( Abernethy, 2022 ). It aims to develop cross-sectoral partnerships at an organizational level to align resources and investments to ensure the sustainability and growth of digital health. The objective also seeks to work with existing digital health partnerships to advance global digital health efforts. This strategic objective aims to build human and institutional capacity for the safe and appropriate use and scale-up of digital health by strengthening the commitment and systematic engagement of all stakeholders ( Abernethy, 2022 ).
7
Strengthen governance for digital health at a community level
This strategic objective will focus on strengthening digital health governance at national and international levels through creating sustainable and robust governance structures and building the capacity for digital health at global and national levels ( Mariano, 2020 ). Governance for digital health aims to strengthen the capabilities and skills needed for countries to promote, innovate and scale up digital health technologies ( Mariano, 2020 ). This strategic objective will promote standards for safety, security, privacy, interoperability, and the ethical use of data within and outside the health sector.
8
Advocate people-centered health systems that are enabled by digital health.
This strategic objective advances digital health literacy, gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusive approaches to adopting and managing digital health technologies (Blumenberg et al., 2022). The strategic objective places people at the center of digital health through the adoption and use of digital health technologies in scaling up and strengthening health service delivery (Blumenberg et al., 2022). The strategic objective places people at the center of digital health through the adoption and use of digital health technologies in scaling up and supporting health service delivery. The individual is an essential component in the delivery of trust-based, people-centered care. This will not only cover patients, families, and communities but also the health workers who need to be prepared to deploy or use digital health technologies in their work.
