In a analysis on the short story, anyone can do it by Miguel Munoz. The protagonist Delfina is constantly battling her gut feeling and always going against it. We meet the antagonist Lis who reminds Delfina of her sister especially in the way she manipulates, Delfina constantly compares Lis to her sister and she does not like the way she makes her feel yet she gives in. Like her sister has some sort of control and now Lis does …. Against her gut and better judgement due to necessity she agrees to go with Lis to earn money, again Delfina has a bad feeling just like she does when her sister talks her into something but she still does it. When they go do day labor lis tells the foreman they are sisters, Delfina doesn’t her this. At the end of the day lis steals her car and money. The foreman feeling guilty takes Delfina home and tells her in the end sisters do the right thing, Delfina never told them they aren’t sisters… She didn’t want to correct him. In my analysis what is it called when Delfina is comparing her sister to Lis multiple times and in the end when the foreman gives the advice and what section of my analysis do I put it in. Would it be under character analysis?
