How will your personal characteristics and approach to teaching affect the learning and development of diverse populations of students? What do you offer to the teaching profession and to diverse populations of young people? Describe what your role will be as a teacher.  What style of teaching do​ you use (or will you use), and why do you think that particular style is effective?  What do you value about your students?

Under what circumstances does learning best occur? What is your idea of excellence (or success)* in the classroom, in both teaching and learning? How are learning and teaching best evaluated?

Why is it important for teachers to understand such concepts and values as social and cultural diversities, justice, equity, and inclusion?  Give examples of how you will enact these concepts and values in your classroom. (Be sure to explain the terms that you use.)

What obstacles to learning (in relation to what concepts we have addressed in our course) will your students face, and how will you help them to overcome these challenges? What will you do (or have you done so far) to help your students learn and develop as individuals? How would you like to be remembered by your students?
