Answer the following three questions:

 1- Both Do The Right Thing and In The Mood For Love explore the conflicts that simmer under the surface in a romantic relationship. How did these two directors utilize cinematography (camera and lighting) to give us information about the romantic relationships in their films? What do you think the directors were each trying to say about love? (Give an example from each film; how camera/lighting have information about the couples 2- Observe from each film; what was the director trying to say about love?)

2- Identify an example of a scene with mobile framing from each film. What type of mobile framing is being used? How does this choice support what is happening in the narrative? Why do you think the filmmaker decided to move the camera in this scene? (Answer all 3 parts of the question demonstrating an understanding of mobile framing.)

3- Identify a scene with a monochromatic use of red from each film. How does this choice of color support the overall narrative form? What effect does this color have on the viewer? (Answer all 3 parts of this question with examples and demonstrate an understanding of the concept of monochromatic color design.)
