In Chapter 4 of America’s Broken Promise, Eduardo Marti expands on his thesis that community colleges should focus even more resolutely on “creating a culture of care,” and highlights several programs and initiatives at various U.S. community colleges that he believes are promoting this culture, and helping to foster a “student-centered” orientation.
