Option 2 36 minutes ago Back in June of this year, I went on my first interview in 14 years. I was also completely switching industries. I was in the restaurant industry for 14 years and I finally decided to follow my dream and go into the healthcare field, I was nervous about the questions that the manager was going to ask but I remember 3 challenging questions that she asked The questions were, "What are your strengths?", "What are your weaknesses?", and she stated a situation and asked how I would handle it. These are challenging questions because I am not a fan of talking about myself and then having to figure out how I would handle a situation I have never been in. My strengths are that I have a great work ethic, am a team player, am very organized, and am a fast learner. My weaknesses are that I am afraid to ask for help, in fear of being annoying, answering phones and knowing the answers, and being new in the healthcare industry. The situation she set was that a parent was upset because they were past the 15-minute grace period and we had to reschedule her child’s wellness visit, but the first available isn’t for another month. I responded that I would remain calm and let the parent get out their frustrations. I would then let the parent know the policy of the 15 min grace period to keep the schedule moving and not have the doctor fall behind. I would also offer to ask the doctor to see if they could still see them. If the doctor couldn’t see them, I would offer the next available appointment and apologize for the inconvenience and give them an appointment card for their next appointment. In regards to appearance, I would make sure I had my hair done nicely, and my makeup done tastefully nothing too crazy. I would also make sure to have business casual attire on. Word Count – 326
