Ethical Behavior: buy that shirt

L4 – Assignment – Ethical Behavior (Intro to business)

Background Context:
I had a great night out on the town Saturday night. You should have been there. Not only did I have a great night, I wore, by far, the nicest dress shirt. I picked it out myself.

When I was buying it, I noticed that it was made in an impoverished third world country. It undoubtedly was made by child labor and most certainly manufactured under sweat shop conditions.

Question to Answer:
After reading Chapter 4, completing the LearnSmart Assignment, and listening to my lecture, answer the question below:

Was it ethical for me to buy that shirt? Be sure to incorporate all applicable class material and define what does the word ethics mean. Be sure to cite your sources. Draw from class material.
