Patient A is a 72-year-old female with an admitting diagnosis of failure to thrive

Patient A is a 72-year-old female with an admitting diagnosis of failure to thrive. She can make some small position changes in bed, but requires a Hoyer lift to get out of bed. She often needs to be “boosted” up in bed when she slides down and she is frequently incontinent of urine. Patient A recently had a PEG tube placed due to difficulty with swallowing and she receives tube feedings overnight to meet her nutritional needs.
