Organization structure refers to the approach applied in facilitating workflow. The hallmark of a well aligned health care organization (particularly in terms of leadership) is that capacity to realign and adapt as required. In fact, for a healthcare organization to ensure viability for the long-term, there is a need for its leadership structure to be adjusted to fit financial and fiscal realities without diminishing differentiation and capabilities (Gulati, Mayo & Nohria, 2016).
