Case Study: Individual PowerPoint Presentation on Integrated Public Service and Public/Private Partnership: This assignment will be graded using the PowerPoint Rubric and counts for 25% of your final grade. It must be submitted in the appropriate Assignment folder no later than 11:59 pm EST on the due date.
This assignment calls for a proposal to integrate a public and private organization. Prepare your presentation as if you were the person standing in front of your county manager, executive, mayor, etc. (played by your instructor) and had to persuade that person to “buy into” your concept.
Identify a public and a private organization. Then determine how they can integrate into a public and private partnership (PPP). Identify both positives and negatives in funding, staffing, training, scheduling, management, etc. This is not an exercise of identifying and reviewing an existing PPP. Per the rubric, you are to use critical thinking and research to create this project. Your final slide should contain the references. Citations are necessary. Make sure you cover all points of the topic in a clear, complete and logical sequence. This is more than just a presentation of bullet points, use the speaker notes or audio to explain your slide(s). Spelling and grammar and APA are grading points. There are to be a minimum of 20 slides (not including title and reference pages), but do not scrimp on the length; make sure you convince your instructor that your idea is worth merit. This PowerPoint will be your original work and not previously used in another class.
