I always demonstrate a caring attitude with all my patients regardless of the color ofntheir skin or their ethnic background.
Sometimes I take it personally when a patient from a different culture does not understand my questions.
Rarely do I reflect on how my own identity impacts how my transcultural patients perceive me.
Often I recognize that learning styles may be different, and I adapt my teaching styles.
I consistently model my acceptance of various cultures for other staff members.
I accept suggestions for being more culturally sensitive from my coworkers.
