The purpose of this quantitative descriptive project is to compare the cost of medications incurred by patients and their families when medications are re-dispensed and not re-dispensed in nursing homes in our state. The dependent variable will be measured by determining cost incurred in procuring drugs by the patients and their families while independent variable will be determined by re-dispensing or not re-dispensing drugs.
