For this week’s assignment, you will write a code of ethics appropriate to your Course Project topic. This week’s discussion supports that assignment by helping you learn about the codes of a variety of different organizations. Here is what you need to do.

Go online and find a code of ethics for a specific organization or company. Note that some organizations, such as the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), use the term code of ethics, and others, such as Google, use the term code of conduct. Before making your first post, please review the posts of your fellow students and try your best to share a code that hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Provide a high-level overview of your chosen code. Explain how it is organized and share a few of the main points of emphasis. What key values does the code focus on?

Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the code. What does it do well? What’s missing? Does it give you any ideas for your own code?

Finally, provide the URL (web link) to your chosen code.

In your follow-up posts, respond to the posts of your fellow students and build upon their ideas.
