PHIL 356 – Biomedical Ethics: Theory & Practice |
Examine ethical issues that arise in healthcare, such as provider-patient relations, death and dying, reproductive issues, human and animal experimentation, and bioethics and public policy. Offers the knowledge and skills needed to research, analyze, and evaluate positions taken on these or related issues. Prepares students for leadership roles in healthcare information. Covers leadership characteristics, roles, and responsibilities in healthcare information. I have developed lot of interest in information technology used in medical settings, such as physician offices and hospitals. In Healthcare informatics I look forward to learning in-depth about the healthcare systems operations and look forward to learning more about it in my class HCL-435. I shall always avail of an opportunity to learn the user-centered design and the physical hardware aspects regarding data storage.
In my future career also I plan to pursue IT as applicable in healthcare settings and hope I achieve my dream career.
