Instructions

1. Re-read the instructions for Phase 1 to remind yourself of the assignment requirements.
2. Familiarize yourself with the relevant section of the rubric to understand how you will be graded on this phase.

4. For each peer:
   • Read your peer’s work
   • In the comment boxes, provide feedback to your peers. Your constructive feedback should provide a detailed criticism that reference the assignment prompt , draws on example from the author’s work, and gives guidance on how to fix the problem. Also answer the rating questions provided.
   • Back up your comments as you go, in a Google Doc. If you encounter any technical issues with the system or your work fails to save for some reason, this will ensure that you can prove to us that the assignment was completed on time. If you have a technical issue with submission, remember you should email your work to the course account before the assignment deadline for us to be able to accommodate you.
   • Navigate between peers using the “Peer1” “Peer2” etc. links at the top of the interface.
5. Once you’ve provided feedback for all peers, there is a final step where you will answer a few questions about your own work (this is not part of your grade, but is required before you can press Submit). After you do this, the “Submit” button should activate.

Notes:

• Shallow comments about things like spelling, grammar, sentence structure, or flow will not receive any marks. If you’d like to point out issues like these, use inline comments to highlight problems. Inline comments/annotations will not be graded.
• There is always room for improvement! It is not sufficient to say “Great work! There is nothing to improve!” You must provide some sort of constructive feedback in order to receive marks on the assignment.
• Reminder that if you are experiencing technical issues you need to send your work, along with screenshots or videos of the issue to the course email account BEFORE the assignment deadline.
