Artwork Selection for Wall Label and Catalogue Entry

In preparation for your Museum Wall Label and Catalogue Entry assignment, I’d like you to browse some online museum collectiions and select a specific work to write about. You must inform me of your selection and provide a link to its description and image on its museum website by 11:59pm this Thursday July 21st. To submit your selection, provide your selection by writing in the text box the identifying information in bullet points, including:

• full title of the work
• date/date range
• medium
• culture/location of origin
• and provide the link to its page on a museum website

Your selected artwork must be relevant to the material, geographic scope, and time periods of our course, which is pretty broad. This includes anything from the regions of the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America, Mesoamerica, North America, and Oceania (including Australia), from the Stone Age through today.
