- Which article did you choose? What kind (genre) of article is it? What publication was it published in? What is the article’s purpose for its readers? What is its main point?
- What multimodals does the article use? How do the multimodals add to the persuasiveness or informativeness of the text?
- From your own researched sources (or from a new search), find at least one multimodal that you could use in your Expository Essay. Post it here and explain: a. what your topic is, b. where you got this multimodal from, c. what it shows related to your topic, and d. how using it in your essay could enhance one of your points.
- Write a caption for your multimodal. The caption should explain how to interpret (or read) the multimodal AND how it supports or illustrates one of your points. Cite the source of the multimodal at the end of the caption but putting the source’s author name in parentheses.
