Your Task
In this module, you’ve become familiar with your first big chart type: the bar chart. Bar charts, including their stacked and grouped forms, can build a strong foundation for drawing insights from data. You’ve also learned a little bit about what motivates the use of data visualizations, including qualities that make for effective visualizations.
In this SkillBuilder, you will use Tableau to explore distributional statistics about the UNESCO World Heritage Center’s World Heritage List (Links to an external site.). The list includes sites around the world both natural and man-made that the WHC has deemed of high importance to humanity’s culture as a whole.

Great work! It’s really good to see your progress in the course. You have a clear understanding of how to add and remove dimensions from the details mark, and you know how to create a side-by-side bar chart. You also know how to sort bar chart data, how to use filters, as well as change the scale of the X and Y axis – your list of skills is growing! You can download the solutions sheet (by navigating to the bottom of the course) and compare it to your answers. Keep up the good work!

Good work submitting this assignment. I can see that you put in some effort to understand side-by-side bar charts, filters, sorting, and graph scales using Tableau. Keep up the practice as this topic will continue throughout the rest of the course and it will bring a stronger foundation as we continue to use Tableau. Don’t be discouraged if you weren’t able to answer all the questions correctly on this assignment! However, some of the Skill Builder questions were missing answers or sheets.
