- Hello class,
EEOC v. John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, Inc. No. 1:09-CV-01151 (N.D. Ga. June 22, 2010)
- First they would let African Americans work in communities that were mostly white race. They also would not hire or promote woman. They were sending African Americans to the worse part of Atlanta. First, I would promote within the company and if they were external applicants I would not determine who got the job by what race or sex they are. Second, I would not send African Americans to one side of town and whites to another part, because I would want my stores diversity. It would depend on which store you applied for not where a company wants to send you. Third, I would over management positions to anyone who deserves to be in that role. People who work hard and know how to do their job deserve to move up in a company and it should not be determined by the race or sex of that person. They were not doing the right job and deserved to be sued.
