You will appraise the analytical readiness of the organization by applying the DELTA model (Data-Enterprise-Leadership-Targets-Analysts).

You may be required to deeply examine one organizational function/department (choose the finance department) of the organization. Analysis of accounting reports such as balance sheets, income statements to examine analytics expenditures, IT investments in analytics, as well as annual reports from IT departments may also have to be examined. Following this thorough analysis, you will prepare a roadmap documenting how an organization can progress along the various stages of analytical maturity.

Should cover the following:

1. Application of DELTA model to appraise analytical readiness.

2. Analytics roadmap must clearly articulate key elements of analytics capability, different stages of building an analytical capability (especially if organization is analytically impaired), and cost-benefit considerations. The roadmap must also analyze tradeoffs and document the benefits, challenges, and value-addition of analytics.
