Length: 10 Minutes using no more than 8 slides (excluding title and references pages) Due: Week 6 Value: 150 Points for 15% of the grade Online: Post in the designated discussion board thread by Sunday midnight Blended: Instructor will schedule in-class presentations Content: For a company with which you are familiar, analyze the internal strengths and weaknesses, and external opportunities and threats (SWOT) of their succession planning process to make recommendations for improvement to the CEO and executive team; reference Appendix B in Common Sense Talent Management or other sources. In presenting your analysis, include the following components:

• Briefly describe the company (name optional) • Describe the current succession planning process • Review a SWOT Analysis of the current succession planning process including identifying internal

strengths and weaknesses, and external opportunities and threats • Recommend improvements to enhance strengths and opportunities while reducing weaknesses
