Argument Analysis of Searle’s Chinese Room Thought Experiment

While the objective of this assignment is to measure the extent to which you understand the content of the material we’ve covered, grammar and style of prose will affect your grade.
(a) Present Searle’s Chinese Room thought-experiment and the role it plays in his argument against Strong AI (a.k.a. computationalism).
(b) Present what you take to be the best objection to Searle’s argument, specifying exactly what premise/assumption it targets.
(c) Present what you think is the best possible response to that objection.
(d) Present what you think is the best way to reply to that response on behalf of the objector.
