Create a map of the piece that indicates key moments with timings
Description
Choose one of the following works and write a listening guide. Include:
Part I: Basic historical information on the piece. When was it written and what is its genre? Provide a very brief biography of the composer and/or performers.
Part II: In a paragraph, explain what to listen for, and what is unique about this piece of music. Mention at least 3 elements of music (melody, harmony, dynamics, form, timbre, texture)
Part III: Create a map of the piece that indicates key moments with timings, similar to the listening guides in your textbook. You can use your own interpretation in doing this, but try to highlight moments or events in the music that you think are important.
