Rough Draft Requirements:
What is one thought process/study/proof the researcher brought to their field and do you believe their findings are still important or still hold true today? For this paper I will be looking for 4 sources and you will be formatting your paper in your major’s format. Meaning for business and behavioral science majors – APA, computer science, mathematics and engineering majors – IEEE, English majors you’re still writing in MLA.
Example: Psychology, Sigmund Freud, creator of psychoanalysis – his ideas were proven wrong over the years but are still discussed 80 years after his death.
Introduction – talk about Freud as a psychologist and then write the research question (Although Sigmund Freud was crucial to the field of psychology by creating psychoanalysis and his work is still taught today, his theories and findings have been proven wrong)
Literature Review – go over the 4 sources you’ll be using (we are going down to 4 because we will all be writing in different formats and I want you to be able to concentrate on that and not finding too many sources)
Experiment/Study – discuss Freud as a researcher and being the creator of psychoanalysis.
Discussion & Conclusion – Discuss how psychoanalysis was used and how it is viewed today. Add your opinion into the mix – his work was important and is still discussed but is not thought to be correct.
