Conduct a review of literature regarding HIPAA Policy and Security, and 1–2 other policies that govern health IT and health information systems design and development; write an 8- to 10-page report addressing the following:

• Explain at least two policies and standards that govern health IT.

• Evaluate at least two policies that aim to improve health through the use of health information management.

• Evaluate the issues that surround system design and development: hardware, software, input/output

• Examine the Physical, Technical, and Administrative Safeguard standards and implementation specification listed in the Security Rule. Discuss the purpose for each Discuss how you would ensure your facility and the facility’s information system design meets each standard.

• Create a questionnaire that contains 20 sample questions that covered entities may want to consider when implementing the Physical, Technical, and Administrative Safeguards.
