This project will require that you conduct field research in order to obtain unique perspectives on the opioid crisis within your community.  You will need to interview three different people who have personal experience with the opioid crisis.  Some suggestions would be public health officials, law enforcement, and non-profit organizations.  But ultimately the decision of who to interview is up to you.  After interviewing these individuals, you will draft a paper summarizing each interview, and then providing your own perspective on the issue. 

The guidelines for the paper are:

1. Interview three (3) people regarding the opioid crisis

2. Document each interview in at least 500 words

3. Analyze the issue(s) presented and determine the appropriate policy response to the issue(s), in at least 1000 words

4. References that are scholarly and beneficial to the paper

5. Do NOT provide any personally identifiable information regarding your interviewees

You can ‘code’ your candidate and then summarize the interview with some core takeaways and themes; that is about 1,000 (4 pages) words towards the analysis of the interviews etc.
