Problem Definition/ Current Situation
The first nations relied upon and used natural materials that could quickly degrade and be recycled back into the environment. Sadly, the nature of trash has changed significantly, now taking many years to dissolve in the landfills (dumpsites). Numerous communities from the first nations and remote areas face similar struggles as they find it challenging to properly manage municipal solid waste (MSW). (Assuah, 2022) The communities do not have the proper access to diversion programs such as recycling. Insufficient funding, infrastructure, lack of capacity, unfavourable weather conditions, small population sizes, and socio-economic factors add to the misery, making solid waste management a daunting task. (Assuah, 2022). Waste management in Canada's Indigenous communities was recognized as a critical issue in 1995 in the Canadian house of ordinary but is yet to be addressed. A survey of 600 indigenous communities found that most indigenous communities suffered from unsanitary waste disposal systems. The present lack of a proper waste management system, such as e-waste and medical waste, is destroying the land and culture of the first nations communities. Moreover, construction and demolition debris and other hazardous wastes can be ubiquitously found along roadways of GH and WASS reserves. According to some community members, the rise in processed and packaged food consumption has primarily 4 contributed to a drastic increase in the volume of waste generated over the past several years. The lack of funding for adequate solid waste management undermines the safe collection and disposal of trash. There is no funding available in the communities for a garbage truck or a truck to help pick up waste from households at the curbside. Moreover, there is no scientific funding to facilitate and promote the development of a sanitary landfill, which could help the communities of first nations living under these challenging conditions.

The industrial rivalry is hampered because we provide exceptional services and embrace more affordable options while providing the most attractive bargains. We have limited entry into the market by offering exclusive deals and investing in more than just the quality of our services because we have 9 engaged technological infrastructure and a basic level of environmental consciousness. We anticipate that the industry will become saturated in the shortest amount of time. Input prices are a significant factor in determining supplier power because of the direct impact they have on profitability through inequity and the effort it would need for us to transfer between suppliers (Dharma,2020). We have an enormous and robust consumer base to provide our customers with low costs and the most incredible offers possible. The danger posed by alternative service providers has been mitigated because of our market research on our rivals and the adaptation of our offerings better to satisfy the requirements of the First Nation Community. SWOT Analysis
The strengths of our firm, Solid Waste Management, are that we lead the First Nation Community through providing comprehensive waste management, working in a large expanse, and serving more than just one population. Weaknesses are depicted by our business transfer locations being majorly leased and territorial disputes that may arise from operation in other expenses (Teoli et al., 2019). Opportunities currently present for our business are expanded market share from the advancement of disposal services, expansion from mere solid waste management to immense recycling, and the slow growth rate of the 10 waste management industry. Threats that may compromise the business operation are variations in regulations, making it difficult to venture into new markets, and competitiveness of waste management as a new venture.
PESTEL Analysis Political: Political issues surrounding this waste management project are engrossed by initiatives on fiscal policies, regular business taxation as laws stipulate, and anti-competition matters. We have a unique operation style that follows all the First Nation Community's jurisdiction stipulations. Economics: Economic factors we engross in business operation include offering employment opportunities for skilled individuals and interests that shape our profitability. The wages of experienced individuals are significant because lower salaries may lead to higher turnover rates. Moreover, the cost of 11 operations should be analyzed to maximize profits. Primarily, we will hold the use of discounts as ordinary businesses engross. Social: Waste is both a result of economic and social impacts; hence our social focus majors on demographics, consumer beliefs, good working conditions for workers, and following consumer lifestyle trends (Gheibi et al., 2021). Informing the local people is a significant step for the sustainability of operations and strengthening social ties. Technological: Major technological emphases in our business are technological advancements, cyber security, and automation.
