For your Manager/Leader Portfolio Project you will write a position statement detailing your perspective on organizational behavior. The second part of the assignment is a reflection on your individual progress as a manager and leader. Specific instructions for the Two Sections:
• Position Statement about an organizational behavior topic. (750 to 1,000 words)
o You will identify and research critical topics related to the field of organizational behavior (Cite and reference source material in APA format).
o The position statement will describe why these topics are of personal importance to you as a manager or leader.
Your statement will present a coherent stance:
describe the topics in practice,
indicate ways to evaluate yourself as it relates to managing/leading in these areas.
The statement will include goals and a plan of action relating to the topics in your career.
• Self-assessment Reflection (750 words). During this course you completed several assessments: Chapter Self-Assessments, Understanding Yourself, Embedded Assessments in chapters, and Now What.
o It is important to know yourself to lead yourself and others. Identify the self-assessments that have made an impact on your understanding about yourself (e.g., who you are as a manager/leader/employee/person). Approximately 200 words.
o Provide a 250-word reflection statement on why and how you will use the assessment results to improve your work as a manager or leader.
o Develop a rich biblical perspective (250 words) and identify a minimum of two scriptures that support your plan for improvement.
The total paper should be 1,400 to 1,750 words. Cite and reference source material using APA format. You are expected to have a minimum of 4 references in your reference list.
