Last week, as we began our read of Showdown at Gucci Gulch, we began to get into the “4 P’s framework” — how people, process, policy and politics interact to either make a legislative effort come together successfully, or not. I asked you to focus on the first of the “P’s” — people — and discuss how one or more of them was important to the emerging story of the 1986 tax reform bill.

For this week’s Discussion Board, choose another one of the P’s: process, policy, OR politics. As you get deeper into the book, what do you see emerging regarding the “P” you’ve chosen?
