Write a case study (a short essay) about a social movement anywhere in the world at any point in time and provide a critical analysis of it.

          Part 1: Describe the social issue being challenged; explain the dynamics of power, institutions, and historical relations that produced the issue.

          Part 2: Drawing upon documentation, media coverage, publications, etc., explain how the movement understands how social change happens; detail their goals; and explain their practices; and how these address the status quo.

          Part 3: Evaluating the effectiveness of the movement and the social challenges they face, propose what might be significant about the movement in terms of how they change the cultural landscape of the conversation, even if they have not reached their goals fully.
