Unipolar depression takes long in an individual for a period of upto 6 months and deploys a state of sadness in them (Comer & Comer, 2018). In cases that need treatment, medication and therapy helps to deal with intense depressive episodes. Therapists can work closely with patients and help them change their way of thinking.
