ART NOUVEAU
Living Space Art Nouveau living rooms are quite beauitful and a lot of detailing goes into them. The swooped ceiling is a signature touch. The high ceilings allow for the room to feel more open. That is where historical and modern versions connect. The ceilings being white and and the walls having dark wood walls.
While the space is a larger gathering space there is a little bit of furniture in each one. The sleek lounge chases and round wood tables. The modern version of the room has detailing of arches on the wood walls this connects to the historical version it's almost exact. The historical room is timeless and exquisite.

THE BUNGALOW
Living Room A bungalow style living room was a bit more rustic looking. Consisting of the dark woods and wood base boards. The rustic pendant light above the dining room table was the typical pendant you would see in this type of living room.
The modern and historical one connect not in your typical way the modern version of the living room shows light throughout the space, multiple pendants, and a light wood flooring. The modern dining table is a lighter wood but connects to the historical one by having the same length and shape as well as having the same amount of dining chairs.

ARTS & CRAFT AMERICA
New Furniture Chair Gustav Stickley designed this chair and the modern version of it is almost the exact replica. The modern one is a suede material while the historical one is a brown leather. The wood of each chair match each- other perfectly. The modern chair has a large cushion allowing for comfort, while the historical version allows for comfort it is slight thinner. The modern one looks a little bit of mid century modern. The wide seating with thinner legs and a thinner side bar. The modern one represents the historical one in a great way. This chair from the beginning has continued to change in each era but slightly keeping the original look.
