-ITM450_Project_Description_Guideline.docx (43 KB): A guideline overview of four scenarios, one which will be chosen as the basis for designing a database solution. The starting point is that assumptions about requirements are known, so that a database can be designed, or a working prototype can be composed as a way to capture specifications. (Suggestion: Select scenario as soon as possible).

-ITM450_TaskList_Project_SystemDatabaseDesign.xlsx (149 KB): Use as a task list for scope of work for the final project; to plan activities that begin in week one with choosing a scenario, and then, based on lessons in the tutorial, to adapt the skeleton framework. A final deliverable in week 4 is a structured System Database Design (SDD). Scoring Rubric for Group Project. (Instructor may return this with comments.)

-ITM450_SystemDatabaseDesign_tutorial.pdf (835 KB): A structured template SDD document (as a PDF) with instructions when using the framework on adapting sections and composing diagrams that represent the design. This document has example figures to suggest the content to be composed by team members when brainstorming and designing a database solution.

-ITM450_SystemDatabaseDesign_framework.docx (63 KB): A structured skeleton framework as a reference to sections to be completed during the four week course for a SDD final deliverable based on a choice of a scenario.
