Assignment 1: Case Study (CACREP Section 2.F.2.a-h)
Assignment Description: Case studies are often used to help counselors conduct an in-depth study of exploratory research surrounding a specific individual or topic. Counselors must be able to apply critical thinking skills and knowledge in working with social and cultural diversity, and case studies allow for a deeper dive into multiple aspects of issues surrounding the client and the counselor’s self-awareness and cultural identity development.
Student Directions: Review the case study posted in Canvas (and at the end of this syllabus) and respond to the five questions to analyze the case. The questions follow the case study in the Canvas document. Please answer the questions using the following minimum requirements below.

1. Follow guidelines for APA Manual, 7th ed.
2. Include at least 10-14 professional references published in the last 5 years. Newspaper or magazine citations do not count toward the 10-14 professional references unless there are no other of sources at all.
